During this weekend's Unit Training Assembly, Aircrew Decontamination training was held on both days to allow an opportunity for everyone needing the refamiliarization training enough time to complete it. The training re-familiarized aircrew members with current USAF chemical decontamination procedures and gave them an actual taste of what they would experience in a chemical warfare environment. Approximately 10% of the class dressed out in full aircrew chemical defense ensembles and the Aircrew Flight Equipment technicians performed decontamination procedures on them. "They arrived contaminated and left the area clean...that is our mission in the chemical decontamination process," said Senior Master Sgt. Michael Morris, Aircrew Flight Equipment Superintendent.
