94th Airlift Wing introduces "Linebacker Award"

A new wing recognition program was introduced and two outstanding individuals were recognized at Wing Commanders Call June 5. The program titled "Linebacker Award" is an initiative generated by Chief Master Sgt. John M. Anderson, former 94th Airlift Wing Command Chief now retired is designed to recognize those men and women who perform above the normal expectations. The inscription on the plaque reads,"Presented to the 94AW Airman who demonstrates the embodiment of the Air Force Core Values, who go above and beyond demonstrating his/her concern for their fellow Airman, and make significant contributions in making the 94AW better".

The first two recipients were Senior Master Sgt. Bradley J. McKinney Superintendent from the 94th Explosive Ordnance Disposal Flight, and Master Sgt. Charles L. Spruill (Gulledge) the First Sergeant from the 94th Aeromedical Staging Squadron.

Additionally, wing first quarter award winners were announced and recognized.
