Run for it Published July 6, 2011 By Don Peek 94th Airlift Wing Public Affairs DOBBINS AIR RESERVE BASE, Ga. -- Reservists from Dobbins Air Reserve Base participated in the Annual Atlanta Journal Constitution Peachtree 10k Road Race in downtown Atlanta, Ga. July 4th. Maj. Lance G. Avery assisted with opening ceremonies by directing a formation flyover of three F-16s impressing the crowd of thousands. The Peachtree, one of the more challenging courses, offers a downhill for the first three miles with a tougher climb in mile four. Reservists have taken on the course, running or walking on numerous occasions with various levels of success.
