AFRC Vice Commander visits Dobbins Published Aug. 4, 2011 By Don Peek 94th Airlift Wing Public Affairs DOBBINS AIR RESERVE BASE, Ga. -- Maj. Gen. Craig N. Gourley, vice commander, Headquarters Air Force Reserve Command, Robins Air Force Base, Ga., spent the day here Aug. 2. Escorted by Maj. Gen. James T. Rubeor, 22nd Air Force commander, he visited various organizations and facilities. Gourley spoke with instructors and staff from training programs including the AFRC Expeditionary Combat Support Training and Certification Center (TCC), Force Support Combat Training Center (FSCT), and Transportation Proficiency Center (TPC). He was briefed on the tools and equipment necessary to accomplish the tasks related to those missions. Gourley's visit included a meeting with the commander of the 94th Airlift Wing, Tim Tarchick and a tour of the newly completed air traffic control tower, where he recognized personnel from the 94th Communications Flight for their efforts in problem solving critical communications issues prior to the tower becoming operational.
