TAI Convention: 40 years in the making Published Aug. 4, 2011 By Senior Airman Danielle Campbell 94th Airlift Wing Public Affairs DOBBINS AIR RESERVE BASE, Ga. -- The 40th Annual Tuskegee Airman Incorporated National Convention kicked off at the Gaylord National Hotel and Convention Center in National Harbor, MD, Aug. 3. This year's event is hosted by the East Coast Chapter TAI. Events for the day comprised registration and a welcome reception with a special performance by the Air Force Tops in Blue. Several Airmen from Dobbins are attending the convention as part of the 94th Airlift Wing's Human Resource Development Council outreach program. HRDC assists Reservists with human resources and development issues, recruitment, retention, diversity, professional development and equal opportunity treatment.
