Members participate in cardio kickboxing

Seeking a different workout from the norm, Dobbins members participated in a free cardio kickboxing class at the base gym from 4:30 - 5:30 p.m., Sept.10.

The fast-passed fitness class combined elements of boxing, martial arts and aerobics, providing overall physical conditioning and toning.

"The [94th Airlift] Wing started the free monthly fitness classes to help our members get motivated about their personal physical fitness," said Master Sgt. Lena Tamplin, wing fitness manager.

Participants seem excited about the different fitness classes offered during the monthly Unit training Assembly (UTA) such as Zumba, Cardio Kickboxing, Circuit Training, Step Aerobics and 20/20/20, to name a few.

"On Oct. 1, 4:30 - 5:30 p.m. at the base gym, we will be offering Boot Camp, focusing on cardio, toning and core strengthening," said Tamplin.
