Dobbins welcomes manager of police services Published Nov. 16, 2011 DOBBINS AIR RESERVE BASE, Ga. -- Grayling D. Livingston recently succeeded Warren Burns as the 94th Security Forces Squadron manager of police services. Livingston will manage military investigations, crime prevention, installation access control, and the resource protection program. In addition, he will review Defense Biometric Identification Data System (DBIDS), base incident reports, accident reports, traffic citations, and advise the Chief of Security Forces Operations on program issues and statistics. Originally from Lafayette, La., Livingston has over 30 years of experience in security and information protection. He served 20 years active duty in the U.S. Air Force as a security forces specialist. Since his retirement from the armed forces in 1998, he has served as security operations and regional asset protection manager for major manufacturing and medical facilities, and data management service providers. Livingston studied Administration of Justice at the University of Maryland and Alan Hancock Community College. He holds an Information Protection Program Manager Certification from the Department of Defense Security Institute and a Crime Prevention and Resource Protection Certification from Michigan State University. He is a member of the American Society of Industrial Security (ASIS). Livingston's previous assignment was with the 8th Security Forces Squadron, Kunsan Air Force Base, South Korea, where he was the manager of the Security Forces Administration Branch. He will soon be joined by his wife Patricia.
