Dobbins welcomes honor guard superintendent

Tech. Sgt. Aaron J. Albright recently succeeded Master Sgt. Bruce See as the 94th Airlift Wing Honor Guard superintendent.. He will serve as the lead ceremonial guardsman for Dobbins Air Reserve Base, training and managing a team of three to 10 Airman, performing for various military and social events.

Originally from Riverdale, Ga., Albright has 13 years of military experience. He served 6 years in the Georgia Army National Guard prior to joining the Air Force Reserve as an Air Transportation Specialist. Albright joined Dobbins as a load planner for the 80th Aerial Port Squadron. He served as a member of the honor guard for two years before becoming superintendent.

"The Dobbins Honor Guard is the best that the Air Force Reserve has to offer," said Albright. "I expect the utmost level professionalism, expertise and dedication during training, and nothing short of perfection during performance."

Albright attended Army Basic Training at Fort Leonardwood, Mo. Upon graduation, he attended Army Administrative Specialist School at Fort Jackson, S.C. He attended the Transportation Proficiency Course and 60K Tunner Course upon joining the Dobbins team. His hobbies include reading, listening to music, watching movies, flight simulator video games, and visiting to the shooting range.

He admits that he stays very busy performing his honor guard duties, with the increasing number of details being requested.

"We've recently acquired three new honor guard members and I'm steadfast in training them to the level of sharpness that Dobbins is known for," said Albright. I hope add more members to the honor guard in the future.

Albright and his wife, Theresa, have been married for six years.
