Tim Tarchick, commander, and members of the 94th Airlift Wing accepted 50 food baskets from representatives of Chapter 576 of the Military Order of the Purple Heart located in in Alpharetta, Ga. Dec 3. The baskets will be donated to Airmen and their families this holiday season. The Military Order of the Purple Heart (MOPH) was chartered by Congress in 1932 to protect and promote the mutual interests of Purple Heart recipients. Although their membership is restricted to the combat wounded, they support all veterans and their families with a myriad of nation-wide programs
