Atlanta Tuskegee Airmen honored

Atlanta Chapter Tuskegee Airmen were honored on Dec. 5 by the Atlanta City Council for their military service during World War II. ATLANTA -- 94th Airlift Wing members, Capt. Darrell Bogan, Equal Opportunity officer and Tech. Sgt. Richard F. Conyers, EO noncommisioned officer, attended the Atlanta City Council's Proclamation Ceremony for Atlanta-area Tuskegee Airmen Dec 5.

Eleven local documented original Tuskegee Airmen, who served in the U.S. Army Air Corps, during World War II received plaques in their honor. The ceremony took place at Atlanta City Hall.
