Full-time DTF NCOIC needed

A sharp Noncommisioned officer-in-charge is needed to manage the Development and Training Flight (formally known as the Delayed Enlistment Program) for the 94th Airlift Wing. The full-time NCO will fall under the wing commander as part of his staff, while reporting directly to the 94th Recruiting Squadron on Dobbins Air Reserve Base.

The position will be funded by temporary Reserve Pay Account (RPA) for up to, or in excess of 12 months.

The NCOIC is responsible for instructing, lesson plans, organizing physical training and ensuring those in the Development and Training Flight are prepared for Basic Military Training (BMT), both physically and mentally.

The selected candidate will work hand in hand with the 94th Airlift Wing as well as the recruiting staff during the Unit Training Assemblies (UTAs). During the week, the NCOIC will establish contact with members of the DTF in accordance with Air Force Reserve Command Instructions (AFRCIs) and ensure the members remain qualified, prepared and ready to attend BMT.

The NCOIC will work with the 94th Force Support Squadron and recruiting to ensure the DTW members have been properly briefed on departure procedures and may also be required to perform additional duties for 94 AW as necessary.

Qualifications:
* Ideal candidate is an Air Force Reserve member with six or more years of military service. A minimum of two years of Reserve experience recommended.

* Must be rank of Tech. Sgt. thru Senior Master Sgt. (Staff Sgt. may apply, with recommendation of his or her group commander.

* Candidate must pass Fit-to-Fight test, with a minimum score of 75. A score of 80 is highly recommended.

* Must be able to participate and lead all aspects of physical fitness, and become a Physical Training Leader (PTL).

* All required Professional Military Training (PME) must be completed for current grade.

* Must hold a current and valid (Secret) Security Clearance

* Last three Enlisted Performance Reports (EPRs) If not available, please provide a statement explaning why. Past EPRs can be acquired from Auto Records Management System (ARMS) or Personal Records Display (PRDA) on the Air Force Portal. Do not contact the Dobbins Military Personnel Fight for your records. They are not able to retrieve them.

* A letter of recommendation from your squadron commander. (May be in e-mail format)

* Letter of recommendation from your first sergeant (May be in e-mail format to RS)

* Copy of last Fit-to-Fight score/record from your unit PTL

* Brief statement as to why you feel you would be a good coach, trainer and mentor to our future Airmen

Caveats:
* This will be a boarded position (Board to convene during Feb UTA) Candidates must be in service dress. If you are meeting the board, you will be notified of the time and date.

* Estimated report date is early-to-mid Feb. 2012

* Position may end without notice

* NCOIC may have a designated assistant to assist them during primary UTAs

* Selected candidate will have provided office space

* Schedule of events, lesson plans and agenda will be provided
