DOBBINS AIR RESERVE BASE, Ga. --
Val Barton, Nancy Black, Jan Tamer and Vonnell Adsit, Dobbins Thrift Store volunteers, recently replaced the flags at the base POW/MIA Memorial Park with funds raised from sales of donated thrift store merchandise.
The Dobbins Thrift Store, established 28 years ago, is open every Thursday and Unit Training Assembly (UTA) Saturday, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Proceeds from sales fund various base projects.
The thrift store is currently raising funds for the relocation of the historic
Dobbins Chapel.
