If so, then nominate them for the 2013 Secretary of Defense Employer Support Freedom Award. The Freedom Award is DoD's highest award for civilian employers supporting Guard and Reserve members. The nomination form can be found at www.FreedomAward.mil. Just click Nominate Employer on the homepage. Fifteen recipients will be chosen for the award and honored at a ceremony in Sept. 2013. Every nominated employer will receive a frameable certificate from Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve to further promote their support for Guard and Reserve service. The deadline for nominations is Jan. 21.
