Welsh III, Chief of Staff of the U.S. Air Force, published his professional reading list Feb. 1. This year not only did Gen Welsh pick 14 books, but he also went the extra mile for his fellow airmen Air Force wide and chose seven films, seven TED talks, web-based resources, and for the first time, artwork, music and photography selections. "This year's CSAF Reading List features writings, movies, music, art, and photography that highlight our heritage and fighting spirit, as well as encourage innovation and forward thinking," Welsh said. "Take a look at the list and find something that grabs your attention." With a message to his fellow Airmen at Dobbins Air Reserve Base, Chief Master Sgt. Wendell L. Peacock, 94th Airlift Wing command chief, said, "Reading can help expand our horizon. Reading recommended books from the CSAF Reading List can give us insight into the future of the Air Force as well as teach us history from the past."
