Wing to host Family Day Aug. 4 Published June 2, 2013 By Senior Airman Elizabeth Van Patten 94th Airlift Wing Public Affairs DOBBINS AIR RESERVE BASe, Ga. -- Members of the 94th Airlift Wing and 22nd Air Force are invited to Annual Family Day, which is scheduled for Sunday, Aug. 4 at Lakeside Pavilion here. Airmen along with their families are welcome to come a out and enjoy food, fun and demonstrations from various wing organizations. Tentative activities include: Welcome by Col. Tim Tarchick, 94th Airlift Wing commander Spouse of the Year Award Lunch served (hot dogs, hamburgers, macaroni salad, baked beans, assorted chips and beverages) Various information booths along Lakeside D.J. on the Deck Rock Wall & Games Sign-up for Annual Fire Muster Lakeside Lounge Open "Old Fashioned" Fire Muster Live Mock Office Burn Fire Muster Award Reservists are encouraged to nominate their spouse for the 9th Annual Dobbins Spouse of the Year Award. This award is to recognize a military spouse who has made significant contributions to your career, and the Air Force. Nomination packages must be typed and submitted by July 26. All nominations will be reviewed by a panel of judges who will select the winner. Parking will be limited, and will not be available for Reservists at the lakeside facility.
