The Singing Sergeants perform at Lassiter High School Concert Hall in Marietta., Ga. Oct. 23, 2024. In 1941, The Air Force Band started off as just one of 59 “Air Force Bands.” Between 1941 and 1945, more than 1,500 musicians auditioned and were recruited from 32 symphony orchestras and 38 dance bands.
