President Bush visits Dobbins Air Reserve Base

President George W. Bush landed at Dobbins Air Reserve Base, Ga., on Thursday, Sept. 7, on his way to a speech at the Cobb Galleria in Atlanta. Following his speech at the Galleria the President met with the Columbus, Ga., Little League World Series winners. The group met the President at Air Force One, shook his hand, got is autograph and presented him with their team's ball cap. The winners had the hats embroidered specially for the President and the First Lady. President Bush departed Dobbins ARB the same day. The Columbus little leaguers remained at the base for a short tour of a C-130, a fire truck and lunch at the Consolidated Club.
