Wing commander meets former president
Col. Heath Nuckolls meets and greets 39th President of the United States, Jimmy Carter, attending the April 6 opening Atlanta Braves game at Turner Field. Colonel Nuckolls is the commander of the 94th Airlift Wing at Dobbins Air Reserve Base, Ga. Colonel Nuckolls presented the baseballs that will make a trip around the world commemorating the Air Force's 60th Anniversary during the pre-game ceremony. The baseballs will return to Turner Field within the month of September. The event is part of the Heritage to Horizons theme events throughout year leading up to Atlanta Air Force Week, Oct. 8-14.
