Timber! Base billboard removed
Contractors loaded pieces of the old Dobbins billboard and concrete footings onto a flat bed trailer to be hauled away Aug. 24. The sign became a safety hazard, being held together with old tie down straps and the cost to replace four signs a year rose to more than $10 thousand. (U.S. Air Force photo/Kennith Green)
