Pluggie promotes fire safety & prevention
Meet the newest member of the Dobbins ARB Fire Emergency Services team--"Pluggie The Fire Plug," a robotic fire hydrant. Pluggie is radio controlled. He has a two-way voice communication system, and squirts water. Pluggie also moves around and has life-like eye movement. "Pluggie will be a great asset to our fire prevention education program," said Assistant Fire Chief Bill Wilson. "He will get plenty of exposure with the increase in fire station tours by various age groups." (U.S. Air Force photo/Master Sgt. Stan Coleman)
