Water Survival Training
Tech Sgt. Preston Caldwell, an Aircrew Flight Equipment Continuation Instructor, assists C-130 pilot, Lt. Col. David Re with utilizing an aircrew survival raft during the semiannual water survival training for 94th Airlift Wing aircrew members, 4 Feb. Aircrew personnel are required to receive this training once every three years to stay proficient with the equipment and techniques used in a water survival situation. The Aircrew Flight Equipment Continuation instructors conduct this training twice a year and have partnered with Cobb County to use the Cobb Aquatic Center in Marietta, Ga., for each winter session to ensure a safe training environment.
