Safe jogging path realized

This plaque, located on the walking trail about mid-way between lodging and the Base Exchange on Dobbins Air Reserve Base dedicates the Conner's Way trail to Mr. Charles "Doug" Conner, Mar 10. The one mile trail running from base lodging to the B.X. was completed in honor of Mr. Conner who fought for many years while working in the Safety office to get it built in order to provide a safe walking path between lodging and the B.X. area. Phase II of this jogging path is being constructed to connect the Conner's Way trail with the Navy path originating from the south side gymnasium so Army Guard soldiers can safely run to that gym. Soon anyone with base access can run or stroll safely and uninterrupted, from the Dobbins lodging facility all the way to the former Navy gym located on the southwest side of the runway.
