Lt. Col. Renata R. Turner is Commander of the 94th Mission Support Group, Dobbins Air Reserve Base, Ga. She is responsible for the leadership and management of agile combat support squadrons, flights, and staff agencies for a wing that consists of eight C-130H3 aircraft and more than 2,100 Traditional Air Force Reservists, Air Reserve Technicians, Active Guard Reservists, federal civil service employees, and host base contractors. The 94th MSG consists approximately 1,100 personnel of the Civil Engineer/Host Base Civil Engineer, Communications, Logistics Readiness, Security Forces, Force Support, and two Aerial Port Squadrons as well as Emergency Management, Contracting and Bio-Environmental Flights. The 94th MSG also provides direct support to area partners that include the Navy, Marines, and Georgia Army & Air National Guard.
Lt. Col. Turner entered the Air Force in 2003 as a graduate of the Reserve Officer Training Corps, Fayetteville State University, Fayetteville, N.C. She has served in various leadership capacities including duties as Military Personnel Section Chief, Protocol Officer, Squadron Officer School Instructor, Aide-de-Camp, and squadron commander. She has also deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom. Prior to her current position, the lieutenant colonel was the Commander Trainee, 94th Mission Support Group, Dobbins ARB, Ga.
