94th Mission Support Group

The 94th Mission Support Group provides for the operation and management of the Dobbins ARB infrastructure. Included are base security, computer-communications, utility services, environmental management, military and civilian personnel, information management, base services, lodging, recreation, food service, facility construction/maintenance, disaster preparedness, bioenvironmental engineering, fire protection and airfield maintenance.

The 94th Mission Support Group is responsible for the combat readiness of five mobility squadrons including the 94th Mission Support Squadron, 94th Civil Engineering Squadron, 94th Communications Flight, 94th Services Squadron and 94th Security Forces Squadron. The units are ready for immediate worldwide deployment.

The mission of Dobbins ARB is to receive, train and equip components of the Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marine Reserves, and the Army and Air National Guard. These units constantly prepare for active duty mobilization in time of national emergency. With the Navy and Marines constructing new facilities at Dobbins, more than 10,000 soldiers, sailors, airmen and Marines will train within the Dobbins ARB/Naval Air Station Atlanta complex.

Dobbins ARB shares runway access with Naval Air Station Atlanta and Lockheed Martin Aeronautical Systems Company.

Approximately 100 aircraft of 10 different types are assigned to Dobbins ARB/NAS Atlanta. They include a variety of missions from aeromedical helicopters to tactical cargo aircraft. Additionally, many C-5, C-141 and C-130 aircraft transit Dobbins for modification and depot maintenance.
