Chief Master Sergeant Wendell L. Peacock is the command chief for the 94th Airlift Wing, Dobbins Air Reserve Base, Ga. He is the principal advisor to the commander and staff and is responsible for assessing factors influencing mission readiness, utilization, morale, and quality of life for more than 1,600 enlisted Airmen. The primary mission of the wing is to provide highly trained Citizen Airmen who execute versatile and reliable tactical C-130 operations.

Peacock is also responsible for coordinating with staff agencies, commanders and senior enlisted leaders on administrative matters and assisting in the implementation of wing policies. He observes all facets of the work, social and living environments affecting enlisted personnel, recommends courses of action and oversees implementation. Additionally he meets regularly with various committees, professional and private organizations as specified and directed by the commander.

Peacock began his Air Force career in 1981. After eight years of active duty, he joined the Air Force Reserve and held various assignments within the security forces career field. His background includes security forces response team member/leader, resource protection, training, information protection and security forces manager.
