Dobbins Air Reserve Base, Georgia -- Dobbins ARB will transition to Health Protection Condition Bravo (Modified), effective Wednesday Aug. 4.

The decision to transition to HPCON Modified Bravo is based on current data and IAW the most recent guidance for risk-based implementation of the HPCON framework – namely a sustained upward trajectory of COVID-19 cases throughout metro Atlanta area. Unit leadership will implement HPCON BRAVO measures, which include:

  • Conduct an updated determination of mission essential personnel
  • Ensure protective measures are in work centers with mission essential personnel
  • Ensure new COVID-19 cases are identified and reported to ASTS, PHEO & BE
  • Continually assess mission impacts
  • Display visual aid AFVA 10-2593 – HPCON BRAVO signage (posted by facility managers)
  • 94 AW Telework policies will not change

For civilian personnel questions, please contact Mr. David Pritchard: david.pritchard.2@us.af.mil; p: 678-655-5036

Implementation will be conducted by leadership – this information is for general awareness and understanding.  A modified HPCON Bravo checklist will be sent to tenant partners and 94 AW leadership to implement.

Additionally, in accordance with the Deputy Secretary of Defense Updated Mask Guidance for all DoD Installations and Other Facilities dated 28 JUL 2021 (please see attached), we must adhere to the following guidance:

1.  In areas of substantial or high community transmission, DoD requires all Service members, Federal employees, onsite contractor employees, and visitors, regardless of vaccination status, to wear a mask in an indoor setting in installations and other facilities owned, leased or otherwise controlled by DoD.

2.  Service members, Federal employees, onsite contractor employees, and visitors who are not fully vaccinated also need to continue to physically distance consistent with applicable CDC and DoD Force Health Protection guidance.

3.  DoD installations, other facilities, and worksites shall, as soon as possible, post signs and post information on their websites clarifying what masking requirements apply in each installation, other facility, and worksite.

All DoD personnel should continue to comply with CDC guidance regarding areas where masks should be worn.

In line with the Deputy Secretary of Defense guidance, the 94 AW Health Protection Condition (HPCON) is upgraded to a Modified HPCON Bravo effective 4 AUG 2021.  A Modified HPCON Bravo checklist will be sent to tenant partners and 94 AW leadership to implement.
