In an effort to further mitigate the spread of COVID-19 on base, Col. Craig McPike, the installation commander, has updated policies to implement measures recommended by the base PHEO.

  1. If working in cubicles: ensure 6 feet distance can be maintained. If not, units can alternate telecommuting 1-2 days a week to limit number of personnel in office at one time.

  2. Avoid group lunches.

  3. Minimize in-person meetings, unless social distancing can be maintained at all times.

  4. Unless you are the only person in your office, wear mask/face covering to maximum extent possible, 100% of the time.

For any COVID 19 symptoms (Fever, cough, shortness of breath, sore throat, muscle aches, new headache, loss of taste or smell) or fever; advise member to stay at home or immediately send home, regardless of whether member thinks symptoms are due to allergies, etc.

If members have any symptoms, send home even if no fever. Immediately notify PHEO at 678-655-4995.

Please remember the Dobbins COVID-19 phone hotline is also a very valuable resource. Team Dobbins members and families can call 678-655-CVID (2843) for information or to leave a message for the base Public Health Emergency Officer.
