Chief Master Sergeant Chad L. Ronnebaum is the acting Command Chief Master Sergeant, 94th Airlift Wing, Dobbins Air Reserve Base, Ga. He is the principal advisor to the commander and staff and is responsible for assessing factors influencing mission readiness, utilization, morale, and quality of life for more than 1,600 enlisted Airmen. The mission of the wing is to provide unrivaled warfighting capability to support any assigned mission across the spectrum of military operations and to create an environment where the 94th AW and its mission partners thrive.
Chief Ronnebaum is also responsible for coordinating with staff agencies, commanders and senior enlisted leaders on administrative matters and assisting in the implementation of wing policies. He observes all facets of the work, social and living environments affecting enlisted personnel, recommends courses of action and oversees implementation. Additionally, he meets regularly with various committees, professional and private organizations as directed by the commander.
The chief enlisted in the Air Force Reserve in 1985 and has held various assignments within the aircraft maintenance career field. His permanent position is superintendent, 94th Maintenance Group where he serves as the commander's senior enlisted advisor on matters affecting the quality of life and mission readiness for more than 300 Citizen Airmen assigned to the group.
